About
Before becoming a designer, I worked as a CBT practitioner, a PR manager, and in hospitality.
Very different fields, but all of them taught me the same thing: people rarely behave exactly the way you expect them to. You learn a lot by watching, listening, and noticing the things that don’t get said out loud.
That’s what I bring into design: a close attention to how people actually experience things, and an interest in the moments where their expectations, intentions, and reality don’t quite match. That’s often where the interesting problems are.
Background
CBT Practitioner
One-to-one sessions taught me to ask without leading and to notice what people do, not just what they say. The core of user research, long before I moved into UX.
PR Manager
Telling restaurants’ stories to press and influencers taught me that people give you seconds, so every word has to earn its place.
Restaurant Manager
Running a busy floor and its team taught me to see service as a journey, from the door to the bill, and to spot where it breaks.
